Plaza Premium Group (PPG) has appointed Pascal Bélanger as Chief Development Officer, reinforcing the Group’s executive leadership as it advances its global growth and development strategy.
Based in Singapore, Pascal leads PPG’s global development agenda, with oversight of strategic partnerships, investment evaluation and the advancement of the Group’s development pipeline across markets. Pascal will report directly to Jonathan Song, Chief Commercial Officer.
Pascal joined PPG in April 2022 and has served as Senior Vice President, Americas since March 2023, overseeing operations across Canada, the United States, Brazil, Colombia and other markets in the region.
During this period, he led a phase of regional expansion and flagship developments, overseeing a workforce of nearly 2,000 employees across key markets. Commenting on the appointment, Jonathan Song, Chief Commercial Officer of Plaza Premium Group, said “As Chief Development Officer, Pascal will assume responsibility for leading Plaza Premium Group’s global development strategy, including the identification and assessment of new growth opportunities, the cultivation of strategic partnerships, and the oversight of investment decisions that support our long-term objectives. His focus on expanding into new markets, while further enhancing our existing portfolio, will be fundamental as we continue to scale our airport hospitality ecosystem across lounges, transit hotels, passenger services and other offerings worldwide. Prior to joining PPG, Pascal held senior executive leadership roles within the aviation sector, where he led airport commercial development, air service growth, and long-term infrastructure and master planning initiatives across complex, multi-stakeholder environments. Pascal holds a Chartered Director designation and brings a strong governance, investment and development perspective to the role. This appointment underscores PPG’s ongoing commitment to advancing its global development strategy as the Group continues to expand and evolve its international portfolio.
